WALKING
THE
BANDWIDTH

FDC

TEXT

[ 1996/??/?? ]

(to the tune of Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn)

Turned on my new PC and I 'net to reedycreek
Looked 'round under skies of the FDC where the world looks far less bleak
W.E. Disney -- won't you look down over me
Yeah, I've got a twenty eight point eight so I've been there every day this week...

I been walking the bandwidth
Dreaming that I'm with my friends out there
Walking the bandwidth
When it seems like life just isn't fair

Saw the ghost of Walt upon Oceanfront Avenue
Followed him up to the gates of Hell and then I watched him gohome too
Now, the idlers they did not see him -- they just sat there on the line
How the tears were in my eyes as he waved his last goodbyes, but, Lord, he looked just fine...

He was walking the bandwidth
Living out the years within our heart
Walking the bandwidth
Now we'll never need to be apart

We've got one thing in common
We've got so much more to share
And we will all be glad to see you
Just remember that we care -- when you're walking the bandwidth...

Now I can't speak for everyone but there's something that I want to say
You're the ones who've brought into my eyes brilliant colors out of gray
Here's a little wish for you -- I wish with all my might --
That you get your every dream come true -- like Walt does every night...

That we're walking the bandwidth
Showing to the world what we can do
Walking the bandwidth
We will always be right here for you

Turned on my new PC and I 'net to reedycreek
Looked 'round under skies of the FDC where the world looks far less bleak
W.E. Disney -- won't you look down over me
Yeah, I've got a twenty eight point eight so I've been there every day this week...
